Final: Kansas 80, New Mexico 63

The Jayhawks committed just eight turnovers as they they defeated the New Mexico Lobos 80-63 at the Sprint Center on Saturday.

After leading by just five with eight minutes to go in the game, the Jayhawks blew the game open with a 12-1 run.

Perry Ellis, after combining for just 14 points in his last two games, led Kansas with 21 to go along with nine rebounds. Andrew Wiggins, Joel Embiid and Wayne Selden joined Ellis in double figures.

Kendall Williams and Cameron Bairstow each scored 24 for New Mexico. No other New Mexico player scored more than five points.

Kansas will have a week-long break before taking on Georgetown in Allen Fieldhouse on Dec. 21. It will be the Jayhawks’ first game at home since Nov. 22.
