The Granada hosted the second annual Z-Day on Saturday. The event featured live bands, a zombie costume contest and green screen “Apocalyptic Pictures” by Dream Keeper’s Photography. The Studio Patrick had a creepy art display and made the trophies for the winner of the zombie costume contest.
Kansas hosted a match against the Arkansas Razorbacks Saterday afternoon April 27 at 2 PM. Kansas lost to the Razorbacks 0-1 after they scored in the last ten minutes of the match and the game also marked the end of spring play for the soccer team.

Kansas hosted a softball double header match against the UMKC Roos Wednesday afternoon April 24. Kansas defeated the Roos in both games with scores of 11-0 and 4-0. Kansas is set to play Baylor this Friday April 26th in Lawrence 6PM CST.
The KU South Asian Student Association presented their annual talent show, the Jayhawk Jhalak, at the Lawrence Arts Center on Sunday. As a celebration of south asian culture, performers showcased their dancing, singing and comedy skills to a crowded theater. Kansas hosted the Elite Long Jump event Thursday afternoon April 18. Due to the cold and wet weather the event was relocated from downtown to the Douglas County Fairgrounds. The event had eight athletes competing against one another in the long jump event and Janay DeLoach took the event with a jump of 6.7 meters.
