The Chamber Ensemble of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra performed a teaser concert at the Spencer Museum of Art, Sunday afternoon. The group played several traditional Chinese instruments and will be performing at the Lied Center tomorrow night, Feb. 13, as a part of the Chinese Festival.

HALO soccer watch party

As part of Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, the Hispanic American Leadership Organization (HALO) organized a soccer watch party on Oct. 11. Members and friends gathered at Cielito Lindo, 815 New Hampshire St., to see the Mexican national team take on Brazil in an international “friendly” match and spoke about the cultural importance of soccer in their lives.
