Paul Pierce, forward

Boston Celtics

Pierce bounced back nicely after a so-so game one Sunday night against the Atlanta Hawks. He played 44 out of a possible 48 minutes and led the Celtics with 36 points in their game two victory Tuesday night. He’s now averaging 24 points through two playoff games as the series shifts to Boston for game three Friday night.

Atlanta Hawks

Hinrich had 12 points in the game one victory against the Celtics Sunday night on 3-of-4 from three-point range and is averaging 34.5 minutes through two playoff games. It’s a significant jump from the 25 minutes per game he played during the regular season. His scoring has seen an uptick as well, averaging 10 points so far in the playoffs after finishing the regular season at 6.6 points per game.


Mario Chalmers, guard


Miami Heat

Chalmers is averaging 12 points through the first two games against the New York Knicks, playing at least 33 minutes in each game. His 13 points, six assists and 2-of-3 from three-point range helped give the Heat a 2-0 advantage before heading to New York for game three, which is set for Thursday night.

Nick Collison, forward

Oklahoma City Thunder

Collison has found a defensive niche with the Thunder and came off the bench for 20.7 minutes per game this regular season. He played 26 minutes Monday night in the Thunder’s game two victory against the Dallas Mavericks, finishing with 4 points and 2 rebounds.
