- Rain begins to fall Friday evening at Hoglund Ballpark as Kansas covers the pitcher’s mound with a tarp after deciding to postpone the Big 12 series opener against Oklahoma for 1 hour, 38 minutes after receiving reports of severe weather headed toward Lawrence. Oklahoma won both Friday and Saturday’s games against Kansas, but Sunday’s game was cancelled due to inclement weather. In accordance with Big 12′s travel policy, the teams will not make up the game.
